What happens if I win?
We will contact you by e-mail. You will then purchase the product you want from us for the price you have offered. There are no any additional fees.
What happens if I don’t win?
We will email you the final results of the auction with all the bids. The money spent to bid, gets saved on your account, in other words, you lose nothing.
What happens if I have saved the retail price of a product on my account?
If you have not won even once you will be able to use the money from your account towards the product you want. Additionaly, you will need to pay tax and a 10% PayPal fee. Shipping is free.
Where do you get the products?
The products are purchased at the Apple store.
How do we make money?
There is an entry fee to bid. We generally take enough in bids to cover the cost of the item and make a margin of around 25% on top. After tax has been deducted, that margin will go towards the cost promoting the auction to attract bidders, operating the auction, hosting and software costs, a contribution to our office costs and hopefully some profit.
Can I place more than one bid?
No, you may place only one bid per auction.
Is it a lottery?
No, it is not a lottery. Users may affect the result and outcome of an auction by waging bids against one another and by acquiring a skill for our auction.
I have bought a bid through PayPal and cannot see it in my account. Why is that?
The most likely reason for this is that you forgot to press the “Return to theTempter.com” button at the end of the PayPal payment process. Please submit a new support request describing your situation. Remember to attach information about the payment (PayPal Receipt No., date and your e-mail). When this information is submitted, we will add the bid to your account as soon as possible.
How old do I have to be to bid?
You must be at least 18 years old.
